St. John’s Rosary Society is an important Catholic ministry, of which every parish woman is a member. How
active each member is, is a personal choice.
The Rosary Society consists of eight circle committees, who serve funeral dinners, and a committee of
volunteers who lead and recite the rosary at funeral visitations. Members help provide food goods and
monetary donations, and donate their time and talent together to serve special events and meals. In the
spring, the Rosary Society hosts Lenten Luncheons for community members of various faiths. Many lives are
touched by us, and at times, during the most sensitive moments of our lives; during the loss of a loved one.
The Rosary Society circle committees serve funeral dinners for our parish families. Although this is a sad time,
we, the committee of volunteers, enjoy a fellowship together as we serve you, as God asks us to be servants
for each other.
Annual dues are $15.00. An annual no-bake bake sale is held which helps to raise money for the bills paid by
the Rosary Society. The Rosary Society uses this money to pay for cleaning of the church and for the garbage
pickup each month. Money has been raised in the past which also helped to pay for the new floor in the
church hall, carpet in the rectory, and carpet at the time of the church renovation.
